Consign With Us

Dee Black Boutique (“DBB”) is a designer consignment store located in Perth, Western Australia and we welcome new clients who are interested in consigning their pre-loved luxury and contemporary clothing and accessories including shoes, bags, belts and costume jewellery.

Prepare Your Items

We accept items that are in excellent, near-new or new condition. They must be freshly drycleaned or laundered and ready for display – no wear, spots, smells or faults. Don’t worry about the era so much as the condition – DBB in fact loves some of the labels that have stood the test of time but are no longer designing!

Keep original receipts and intact swing tags with your items – it encourages buyer confidence, particularly for high value items. If we need to separately authenticate an item this at your cost.

We are open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am – 4pm and accept new consignments during these times – there is no need for an appointment. If you have a lot of items we can come to you!

Please note that clothing and shoes are accepted for consignment by DBB on a seasonal basis, Autumn/Winter in late April and Spring/Summer in late August. We do however accept ball gowns, cocktail/special event dresses, and high end designer pieces year round.

Pricing & Sales

DBB will undertake an initial assessment of your items and, if they are accepted, we will price them and enter them into our computer system and send you our full terms and conditions and a link to your online account – please allow 1-2 weeks for this processing.

All items are carefully condition checked and authenticated before acceptance and pricing. We price according to our assessment of the item’s market value. Our team has many years of experience in fashion and retailing and we understand what it takes to sell an item for value. We also undertake promotional events both in store and online to maximise sale of items.

Commission rates are 50% each to you and to us on sale (ex-gst) except for high end items that sell for over $1,000 where we pay you 60% of the sale price (ex-gst).

Our consignment period is 4 months and during that time we will use our best endeavours to sell your items both in store and online.

Payment for sales is made monthly into your nominated bank account or you can pre-arrange with us to pick up cash in store provided it is at least 2 weeks after the sale of your item/s.

If we need you to pick up any of your items we will send you an email and you will have 2 weeks to pick up your unsold items - after these 2 weeks, if you have not collected your returns, they will be donated to one of the local charities that we support.

You will receive our full terms and conditions and access to your online account upon your consignment being accepted by DBB.
